I brought in the last tomatoes yesterday. There were tons of tomatoes…I think the tomato plants were more productive from September till November than during the whole summer. It shouldn’t be a surprise, I guess, since our summer temperatures are always above 95 degrees.
Several of them were ripe enough to eat, so those will go on the counter, but there are tons of green ones I packed away in trays with shredded paper. They will ripen over the next few weeks or months and should keep in storage until we can eat them.
