- 15 have symptoms of stem & bulb nematode
- 2/40 = 5% susceptible to stem & bulb nematode
2014-2015: 1 lb seed stock from Peaceful Valley = 8 heads = 78 cloves (4 seemed diseased/rotting) == 74 good cloves … 40 planted
- planted 11/2/14 at 6″x6″ spacing
- as of 11/29/14, they still haven’t sprouted. I checked on a few, and they look fine and have germinated. Not enough water? Not warm enough soil? planted too deep? 2 other varieties were planted on the same day, at the same spacing, in the same bed…maybe not as deep, though. They have almost all sprouted.
