This weekend I tried seed saving for the first time. I collected seeds for:
- cosmos
- marigolds
- South African Daisies
- Giant chives
- coreopsis
- Lavender Bergamot
- blanket flower
- echinacea
- bachelor buttons
it’s quite a trick to recognize the seed in all of the debris of an old flower. Some of the plants aren’t ready yet…like my Maximilian sunflowers. I wasn’t successful with saving any of the dahlia seeds, although i think I disbursed quite a few of them.
